Your written confirmation
A website itinerary describes the proposed journey. The written departure offer confirms dates, room category, safari formats, transfer arrangements, inclusions, exclusions, price and complete payment and cancellation terms. Do not treat an enquiry or a locally generated quote as a confirmed reservation.
Five photographers, plus Chetan
Small-group expeditions have a maximum of five paying photographers, plus Chetan as expedition leader. Private journeys are for one to five paying photographers. Family participation and any non-photographing companions need an individually agreed arrangement; this website does not confirm extra places.
Accommodation and safari allocation
Lodges, room categories, vehicles, safari routes and sessions depend on availability and operating rules. A proposed stay is not a guaranteed allocation. Exclusive vehicles, particular zones, specific animal encounters and unrestricted access are not implied.
Safety and considerate photography
Follow forest staff, naturalist and driver instructions. Stay in authorised areas, keep noise low and do not feed, bait, provoke or crowd wildlife. Chetan’s photographic guidance works within those limits. Weather, early starts, road transfers and uneven terrain should be considered when planning.
Practical requirements
Discuss accessibility, dietary requirements and fitness for the planned activities before confirmation. International guests arrange valid travel documents. Flights, visas, personal equipment and travel or medical insurance are excluded unless the final offer expressly says otherwise.
Photographs and permissions
The photographs on this website belong to Chetan Kumar and may not be reused without permission. Guests retain rights in their own photographs. Participation does not grant CK Safaris permission to use a guest’s portrait or work in marketing; that permission must be obtained separately.
Changes and exceptional circumstances
Wildlife is wild. Sightings, particular animals or species, and photographic opportunities cannot be guaranteed. Activities, safari formats, timings and routes may change because of weather, forest conditions, regulations and operational circumstances. Financial treatment of changes, closures, cancellations or an interrupted expedition must be covered by the final written terms. No blanket waiver of a guest’s statutory rights is intended.
Status of these terms
Booking and payment collection are not active. The complete terms, legal business identity, applicable dispute process and cancellation schedule require final approval and professional review before paid bookings begin.
